The course is delivered using a mixture of theory, demonstration and practice methods, with more emphasis on building practical skills. The beauty of the weekly sessions are that you will be given the knowledge and practice skills during the session, then encouraged to practice in between sessions, and then iron out any problems or gain further clarification with the trainer during the next session. You will see a big increase in your ability and confidence as the course progresses with each session. There will be a maximum of 5 students per class to ensure students get a good amount of support.
Normal Course fee: £1395.00 per person
SPECIAL OFFER: Book by 29th January in advance and get £400 off – PAY ONLY £995.00 per person. The normal cost of the module is £1395.00 per person, and there will be a maximum of 5 students per class to ensure students get a good amount of support. This module will usually run on a Monday evening between 6.30pm and 9.30pm over 12 weeks.

The Simply Afro package course is currently a non-accredited course. However, on completion of the course you will receive a Silk Trends Academy ‘Simply Afro‘ Certificate. The course is designed with the National Occupational Standards in mind, which are set by the Hair and Beauty Industry Association (Habia). This could be used as evidence of skills already gained should you wish to pursue an academic course of study in the future (e.g. NVQ Hairdressing).
