Creme De La Creme British Hair Awards 2007

The Creme de La Creme British Hair Awards 2007 held at The Yaa Asantewaa Arts Centre, W9 on Friday 20th July, was the first Hair Awards to recognise independent salons and local talent in the hairdressing industry.

Silk Trends entered four categories and was awarded 5 trophies in the following areas:

Weave Stylist of the Year – Ingrid Farrell (Salon Director) – 1st Prize (Gold Award).
Stylist of The Year – Ingrid Farrell (Salon Director) – 2nd Prize (Silver Award).
Braid Stylist of the Year – Cythia Makila Keto (Stylist) – 2nd Prize (Silver Award).
Stylist Team of the Year – Silk Trends, Ingrid Farrell (Salon Director) and Cynthia Makila Keto (Stylist) – 2nd and 3rd Prize (Silver and Bronze Award).

Ingrid Farrell of Silk Trends says, “This was a really good opportunity to get our talents out there to the wider public. This was the first of many awards Silk Trends will enter, and these competitions will push the Silk Trends Stylist Team to strive for perfection in the services it offers to our clients.”
